How to play KQ off

Many times I had KQo on BB,SB and a lot of times i missed the board.. What you think guys what is the best way to play this hand pre-flop and post-flop if missed.

PRF:
1. raise if not raised ~3bb from late possition and if on early posstion depends on you opps (you dont whant a any 3bet with this hand sitting on UTG)it also depends on hat was happening before
Exmp:you are facing 5.5 bb riase from UTG and 3bet 9bb from MP, most likely you are behind the range of this players and you should fold (unless they are uber-agro and raise 89o)
2. Cold call can be fine if you have a 1-2 3-4bb raises, but be carefull of who are you playing with

POST FLOP will heavely depend on your opps.
Expm: a nit player will fold on your donk c-bet with an A on the bord & a "agro-station" will call thinking it's a bluff

if you have blank flop with no dro there is no point defending K high

avoid playing it from out of position because it is a marginal hand. Play it strongly from position because it is a strong hand and keep the pot small if you see aggression from the opponents. That I believe sums up pretty much most of the strong looking marginal hands which are played out of position by amateurs like AJ, KJ, KQ, KT. AT. These hands are strong in an unraised pot in position. Rest in all the other spots, if you are calling the raie out of position, you don't hit the board too often and even when you do, you don't know how good you are.

need more infos to answer u. is about early, middle, late stage? how deep we are? i suppose there is not a raise before us.
Preflop from SB u can open vs BB or just limp. u have a good starting hand. if u dont hit the flop, continue carefully, u have some showdown value with K high. your goal is to reach the showdown after river as cheap as possible u can..

I guess the other guys pretty much said it all . You have to look for position to play hands like KQo ,to control the action , how many entered the flop , what's the texture of the board , you hit sth or not, if you could bluff or not .
In the past I used to play it more in other positions and it caused a lot of troubles to me , as I didn't know how to play them effectively .
It's not as strong as I thought ...

In my way KQ -- is strong hand. It is stronger than AK in some meanings and situations (surely, AK -- are top-marqined connectors, KQ -- opened connectors). But playing this hand as strong is not the best case. I like to play it like em... connectors, trying to gather more players on preflop for possible flop shot.

It's definitely a preflop call and missed post flop fold. I am enamored by the paint, but even if you hit you need to be watchfull.

don't mean to knock ' Jester ' but kqo is only better than ako after it connects solidly after the flop . I see tournament players busting to stronger starting hands over and over after hitting one top pair ( aa kk qq aks ako all way ahead ) . you can lose to surprise sets also . sure , you can make more straights with kqo, but they rarely flop , and draw chasing can be costly .

I like the go into flops being the one raising kq on the button. That way I can gauge how they act post flop before I act.

If played properly, this hand is not played at all if there are pre-flop raisers. You can try to steal blinds or call 1BB bet, but other than that - it is risk taking that may not pay off. KQ suited, on the other hand, is a hand I play reguraly, although am always prepared to fold with it.

As for risks, poker is risky game)) Some people said there a lot of hands that will beat KQ, and there is need to be careful, but AA is not the unbeatable monster too))) So often even set after flop was beaten, so lets fold it? I can agree, sometimes we is in need to do so, but it is an exceptional situations (which confirms the rule).
