Position is one of the most important factors in poker. Playing on the button (BTN) or cutoff (CO) gives a huge advantage since you act after your opponents. How do you adjust your range based on position?

Varying play by position is very self-explanitory. But it's a hard rule to play by. When you are card dead for hours, or more, you'll play anything, based on the old non-strartegy of, "I'm overdue for some luck." When you bust, the rationale is:"at least I went out guns firing."

With position I don't care about my range.

Make my villains worry about it.

I did not play many hands as other experienced players. I play mostly tourneys were blinds increase, I don't see a big difference with the position. Maybe in cash tables position matters, because no increase of blinds and its a long game.

It all depends on many factors. You have to take into account the format and structure of the tournament, the number of players at the table and the stage of the tournament. The combination of different factors determines my behaviour and my decisions at certain moments.

Playing in late position means saving chips, because if your hand is bad post-flop, you can still get away with it.

Usually if I am in late position and there are already 5 people in and people doing multiple raises, I'll sit out that hand.
