Do you think it is worth hiring a poker coach to play better, or is it better to learn on your own with WODs, books, videos?...

Because I want to spend time with pleasure, but so that there is a profit from it...

I believe that for us to play well at a very low level, free videos and materials on the internet are enough.

Now, if you want to play a little more expensive, have the financial means and are willing to invest, a coach is definitely worth it. But analyze the market carefully before choosing your coach.

It all depends on your capabilities. If you have the opportunity to hire staff, such as a masseuse, tennis coach, driver, cook and maid, then of course you can do it. This will save your time. If you think that your time is expensive, then of course you should use the services of a specialist and thus save money. How do you think. How much is your time worth? Is your time worth more than the time of the trainer you are willing to pay?

No matter how valuable theoretical information is, paying attention to theory alone makes it impossible to become a truly strong player. Working with a trainer, you receive a ready-made method of work, outlined step by step, taking into account your needs. You will be able to ask questions that concern you and immediately receive qualified help.

I think there is no better way to learn than by coaching. Beginners should spend some time first figuring out what they want their specialty to be. But once they've made crucial decisions about whether to play live or online, whether to play cash or tournaments (and if so, what type of tournaments), I think there's huge benefits to be had in hiring a coach.

if you play at low limits, then learning is the best way. If you want to play high limits, you should find a coach and study because there are big prizes and you will definitely study with a coach faster and make a profit or go to poker school to be taught for free
