Pot odds

Does anyone here play by calculating pot odds?

I play, whenever I have a questionable call, I analyze the equity of my hand vs the villain's range, to know if I have pot odds to call a hand. In clearer cases where the villain has a lot of strength where I know there will only be a top, then in these cases I don't even consider pot odds because I know it won't be good to call, but, in other cases, I always analyze whether it's a good call based on pot odds, e.g.: I have 25bbs in the big blind, a short with 4bbs goes all in, I don't even look at the cards I just call, but I also change calling ranges when there is a risk premium, because, in these cases where there is ICM involved , you will have to have a much higher equity to be able to pay.

I think the chances are calculated by probably more than half of our community members. Maybe I'm wrong, but the players in our community are quite skilled and it definitely shows that they calculate the odds well

Do you calculate pot odds? or are you only interested in knowing if others do? Curious

I always think of not only pot odds Im getting vs equity but also any implied odds my hand might have. It’s also important to know what pot odds you are laying someone. Good luck out there!

I think you should generally be aware of the price you're getting👍....

i try to play with calculator odds and i think it is not comfortable
