Hi poker strategists,

So I just want to know what are you reasons behind running it Once, Twice, or Three Times.
I know a guy who only plays 1/2NLH and he always runs it once unless the pot is over $1,000
I like to run it twice always but I am finding myself chopping a lot of pots in the end.
Should I switch to running it three times?
I know a lot of you are probably going to say "Just run it ONCE" but I am not the luckiest when it comes to run outs honestly.

Would love to hear your thoughts

In my opinion it´s better to run it twice than once because if you are a regular player with a serious tactic and good knowledge you will split more pots this is a clear fact but i think on a long distance your bankroll will profit.
To run it three times i can´t give any recommendation because i never tried it out - is it possible on PS ?

First of all running it more than once does not change the long term EV or results. It reduces variance, which is good, if you are following bankroll management and being a bit aggressive with your bankroll. But other than that its mostly tactical considerations about, how you think, your opponents will react to losing or to you declining to run it multible times. If someone is a real pain in the butt and you think, he might tilt, if he lose, then maybe say "I just run it once" and try to tilt him. But if someone is very good for the game and cant afford to reload, then agree to run it 2-3 times and try to keep him in the game.

you can play once if you are unlucky you can re-enter and try your hand again, and if this time you are not lucky again, it's best to stop and not make more entries because I think it will end badly in poker if you are unlucky once this can continue several more times 2 entries I think it's enough
