What is 4b/f?

I know what is 4-betting but 4b/f? Also please elaborate on examples and situations related.

I am not sure but is probably 4 bet-> fold

if I had to guess it's the nuimber of times one folds to 4 bets. (I'd read it as how much someone is scared of them but I don't think one should play with 4 bets even if that stat is high )

I think it's how you said, but not the number of times one folds to 4bet, but the percentage of the hands the guy folds to a 4bet.

4betting with an intention of folding to a 5bet. Just like x/f, x/c, x/r, 3bet/s etc etc.

You can use it intention to outwit the bluffer,but fold when you got reraise more than 4bet.

It can be used if villain has a 3 bet bluffing range (would require history to know for sure) but does not have a 5 bet bluffing range (most micro players do not).

So let's say you have a villain who has a 3bet pre stat of 50%. That means he will be 3 betting 50% of the total hands he is dealt pre. That's half the hands in the entire game. That's a really wide range. Hero has AQ. Our AQ plays really well against villains current range, and it will play well against the portion that flats the 4 bet. With that being said if we then realize that villain only 4 or 5 bets the top 1% of hands, AQ plays badly against that range and thus a good line would be to 4bet/fold

agree with this one.
4bet with the intention of fold to 5bet.= 4bet fold

i don't have situation on that, it happens most in super deep stack cash games esp super deep stack short handed games.
at least both holds 300big blinds.

I recall a spot in 10nl zoom where I was bb with KQs.

Button who has a high steal% and high fold to 3b% opens and gets 3b by the SB who has a high 3b% this is a great spot for a cold 4bet but after the button 5bet jammed I had to let it go. Still I think this is a good example of a spot to 4b/f

Interesting. Did the SB call it and do you still remember what cards they had?

It's always been my understanding that the 3-bet percentage is a measure of 3-betting when such an action is possible. After all, one cannot 3-bet if there is no action or only limpers before you — you could only raise. So, I don't think that it's equivalent to a percentage of hands dealt.
I like the rest of the explanation for AQ playing well against a wide 3-bet, then not looking so good, exactly where a 4bet /fold is used

Me and SB both snap folded of course. Besides it doesn't really matter what button had. It has to be KK or AA, probably aces.
