Poker courses and books are definitely useful things. But they won't help you if you don't regularly work on your mistakes. Learn to analyse your own game, your own decisions and, most importantly, your own mistakes. If you have the ability to learn from your mistakes, you will quickly grow as a player and get better and better every day.ErnestoAhp said:

The free course from CC (which was mentioned above) is an excellent introductory and refresher option for online poker.

The only book I read was Doyle Brunson's Super System.
It was at the beginning and for me it was quite interesting cause I knew nothing about poker.
But them I player a lot of online poker. That helped. And I used to lover watching the expert specials on how to play hands, how to bet, how to put pressure on other players.
I do wish I could of finished the CC 30 days' course.

The Theory of Poker by David Sklansky is still one of the best for understanding core concepts like value betting, bluffing, and expected value. Even though it’s older, the fundamentals it teaches are timeless.
Another great option is Harrington on Hold’em by Dan Harrington, especially for tournament players. It explains decision-making in a very practical and easy-to-follow way.
As for courses, I think structured video content helps a lot once you know the basics. Platforms like CardsChat’s own learning material or beginner-friendly training sites are good because they break concepts down step by step and often include real hand

If you want a solid foundation, you can't go wrong with The Theory of Poker by David Sklansky. It’s a bit dated, but the core concepts about 'The Fundamental Theorem of Poker' are still essential.
