Why do they say tight aggressive is the best way to play?

I feel like if I can find my own style and take a little extra risk while being able to figure out when I'm beat then maybe it could work better for me.

I think everyone says tight aggressive is the best , because It's the best basic strategy to use as a starting off point. As you play longer at 1 TBL your strategy should be adjusted according to TBL play and stack sizes. This is what tight aggressive means to me anyway. Good Luck Out There.

Tight agressive representes a player u plays good hand and when they have that hands they play agressive... Examples: we're agains one player loose, e have KQ suited, that guys opens we 3-bet because is a loose player.... he calls, flop AT5 we c-bet if don't have we'll fold, and we take it down... So with our image we can steal some pots having K high for example...

yea play the tag way is probably the best in micro mtt's with a lot of players.

I always play aggressive in the beginning I go all in with 99 or more at a later segment try to play on the situation

They probably say this because being a goog TAG is a lot easier than being a good LAG.

Being a good LAG is more profitable, but a lot more expensive if you dont get it right.

Tag strategy is the best cuz if you have a good card you put most your chips in the middle and when you win you win double up or tipple up... And then you have enough chips for wait second good hand

TAG is the first strategy for beginner - it is easy to learn. you have some charts and follow them...
LAG - u need a good postflop skills.... i think nowdays mixing lag and tag style is most wining strategy. also pay a lot of attention to your opp stats and table dinamics... some time i can call with marginal hands if i see tilting opp and so on

I would say, TAG is the safest and cheapest way to play.

Somehow it serves as a shield or protection from being go broke easily.

When you're playing micro stakes poker a TAG strat works best because almost everyone else is playing loose-passive. Doing the opposite of everyone else is generally the most profitable play.
