There is this joke among waiters: “A certain married couple decided to find out who their six-month-old baby would become in the future. The psychologist they turned to for advice put the baby on the table and laid out three things in front of him: a doll, cards and money. “If a child takes a doll,” the “aesculapian” explained to the boy’s parents, “then he will be successful with women, if he reaches for cards, he will be excited, but if money attracts his attention, he will surely be rich.” The baby, seeing such a variety of interesting objects in front of him, solved the problem in his own way: he gathered everything into one pile and pulled it towards him. “Well,” said the psychologist, “a waiter is also a very good profession!”The way I see it, working in a casino is little more than watching people come in, serving them drinks, waiting for them to lose a ton of money and eventually become stumped about what to say to their other half.
