Have you ever played live poker in a foreign country?

I'm brazillian and begginer at poker playing. I was wondering how it would be the experience of going abroad to play live tournaments and stuff. So I'd like to ask whoever can share the experience: where do you live? have you ever played tournaments outside your country? if yes, where? did you like the experience?
