I used to have a job that I would travel once or twice a year to a big city, and if it had a casino nearby, I would hit it up.

The first time I ever played live poker was at the Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh. That was probably around 2012 or so. Since then I've played at the following:

Harrah's New Orleans
Maryland Live
Horseshoe Baltimore
Portsmouth Rivers Casino
Harrah's Cherokee
The Bicycle in Los Angeles
Hawaiian Gardens
MGM National Harbor
Mohegan Sun Pocono
The Nugget in Reno

Haven't been to Vegas yet. May get to hit up the Hollywood Charles Town in a few weeks.

I haven't played live poker yet. I would like to, but unfortunately I do not have such an opportunity. Nevertheless, I am convinced that it would be an interesting experience.

I've only played poker in Kansas City and Las Vegas, so:

KC:
Harrah's Kansas City
Ameristar KC (poker room no longer exists)
Hollywood Casino KC

Vegas:
Flamingo (poker room no longer exists)
The Linq (poker room no longer exists)
The Strat
Golden Nugget
Sahara
Bally's (now known as The Horseshoe)
Rio

But that might change next year and I may hit up more places.

It must be just four different rooms of the same club.

The Lodge, Texas Card House, Lucky Social Club, Bullets Card Club, H.O.T. Social Club, and Georgetown Poker Club to name a few. All are around Austin, TX. I plan on making the rounds pretty soon to Dallas and Houston. Plenty of tournament action this summer! :giggle:

I forgot that I also played in some sort of social poker club in Portland, Ore. Not sure if they still exist out there or what.

Sometimes I go to a local casino to play live poker, but I haven't participated in big tournaments, but there are plans, I hope to go this year or next.

I think that casinos are a waste of time and money. In addition, you are more likely to lose money than win. I don't play in casinos.

In Las Vegas I have played in at at least 10 different casinos, Aria, Orleans, Venetian, MGM, Rio, Golden Nugget, Binions to name a few.

In Europe I have played in Copenhagen, London and in Spain. And on a cruise ship.

I have never played poker live, but the time you spend playing live and online I think is more profitable online

I've played in a few rooms in Europe; however, lately I've been playing only online.

Foxwoods (Connecticut)
Twin Rivers (now Bally's in Rhode Island)
Filotimo/Manchester Poker Room (New Hampshire)
Mohegan Sun (Connecticut)
Dover Casino (New Hampshire)
Horseshoe (Las Vegas)
Caesar's Palace (Las Vegas)
South Point (Las Vegas)
Concord Casino (New Hampshire)

That makes nine, and I played at them in the order they are listed. Foxwoods and Filotimo are my favorites for sentimental reasons. ❤️

Add Hollywood Charles Town to my list. Have to say I was unimpressed. A/C wasn't working when I got there. The casino still allows for people to smoke inside in a designated smoking area, but you could clearly smell the smoke from the poker room. Play was okay. Won over $300 in about four hours.

I see you play in New England. You should try The Boston Billiard Club in Nashua NH. Nice room lots of hourly high hand prizes, the food and bar are great. Clean and friendly. They have cash tables and tourneys as well. What did you think of the Concord Casino in NH? I am thinking of going there this fall.

Thank you for reminding me, I have played at Boston Billiards once and it was very nice. I’m on my phone right now and will give details on Concord later when I get home. It is very nice. :)

Not much choice in Scotland. Played in all Grosvenor casinos in the major cities. And Genting in Edinburgh. In England, Star City in Birmingham, Aspers in Newcastle, the Hippodrome & Empire in London, as well as many other Grosvenors in England like Blackpool, Nottingham.

The truth is that I haven't played in any room yet, there are no tournaments nearby in my country, although I hope to travel alone to play in the near future.

I've played live several times, but I've only played with friends. I've never sat down at a live poker table in a casino or in a tournament, I hope to have the opportunity.
