Hello! I’m used to holding a two-color deck in Hold'em, but a four-color Chinese pineapple is more convenient. Sincerely, Sergey

4 colors are better and more convenient, when playing several tables at once. 2 colors - warm classic ))

Four? 2? Real men use 1!

The Apple II's Draw Poker game above is the very first poker game I played. It's where I learned what a flush is. I ran it on my Pravetz 8M PC, which had a monochrome (green) screen like on the screenshot. Disclaimer: I wasn't lucky enough to get a nice Royal Flush for the screenshot—I hacked the deck.

My favorite colors are black, white and red. The 2-color decks satisfy me aesthetically. The 4-color decks are more legible and eyergonomic, so I prefer a 4-color deck whenever I have the option.

In fact I also like to tone everything down when I can from a graphic sense, so background and felt, the backs of cards etc. are all shades of grey and black. Then the cards really pop off the screen.
Same, except I tend to prefer greenish felts, and the card backs must have a simple design contrasting with the dark background. Why? I do the majority of my decisions based on the number of players still holding cards. Since I see only the back of their cards, such players can be identified quicker when the colors on the back pop.

4 colors it's better when you are playing a lot of tables.

I play just a few tables, so usually I use the classic 2 colors.

I had a quick look at the four colour deck, when it was first available but thought I would not like it, so did not use it. As a result of this thread and the positive remarks, I decided to try it. I like it and doubt I’ll ever go back to two colours. So, thank you Cardschat members.

Hey sergey3...

Go to Settings...click on Table Appearance and a drop down menu appears...click on Cards and a '4 color deck' box will appear to tick.

For more flexibility try Settings...Table Appearance...Themes...then you can alter Felt Color, Background, Front Deck and Back Deck.

It makes play so much more enjoyable.

I prefer four online and wish they switched to it in live casinos. I’ve never heard a convincing argument as to why they don’t. People say “but if they see a flash of your card they know what suit you have” as if it isn’t their responsibility to conceal their cards anyway - and if you’re worried about them seeing it while you throw your cards in to fold, then don’t fold like an idiot.

Thank you very much, I already figured it out))) I was not looking there.
Really it became clearly visible flush, as I played before with two colors?))) lol
