To be honest probably not. There are a lot of poker streams already, and if I occationally watch one of them, I prefer to watch someone, where I think, I can learn something, and where some interesting spots might come up. And no offence to you or anyone else, but a CC freeroll just does not fit the bill.

A few years ago Doug Polk admitted in one of his videos, that his 100-10.000$ bankroll challenge had not exactly made him as much money, as he had hoped for. He made the 9.900$ profit at the tables obviously, but as a content creator it had been a flop for him. His words were "nobody wants to watch you play the micros".

And thats even someone as famous as him. Most people - and myself included - would rather watch Doug Polk or Daniel Negreanu play some high roller games, we can only dream of playing, to see, if we can pick up some tricks, and also just for the excitement of the money at stakes. Again no offence to you, but thats just the way, it is :)

Happy New year!
And yes unfortunatly i have to agree with you - viewerships allways go to higher buy-ins - but that's fine for me ! I think there is a lot of tricks and tips you can learn on how to exploit specific tournaments on microstakes as well. But i enjoy the journey more then anything else so far!

I have played some 530$ WCOOP mainevents in cooperation with xflixx -reached day 2 - and immediatly had the highest viewership, except for my birthday where i had GJreggie Pyeface OP-Poker xflixx - raksha and pretty much all of pokerstars memberstaff playing a homegame with me. So there is 2 options to reach high viewership - playing high stakes - or playing with known names on your birthday :D But for me i personally enjoy more playing midstakes - talking through all my decisions and helping beginners to understand how ranges compare how to identify certain player types - there's just more in for me - even though i'd make more money in a different way :)

Agree 100% with the idea of watching CC free rolls as opposed to more engrossing content.

I would say. have at it...but...I think there is another issue also, that of privacy.

Cards Chat free rolls are private and I am not sure everyone would like a private tournament turned into something of a public spectacle. I have often seen the likes Jamie Staples being asked was he streaming the play (in the table chat) and the impression I got was some are fine but others were not. I don't recall anyone coming back and saying "oh that's cool!"

I'm well aware some are being streamed already, but it always strikes me as 'nobody asked me'....and it just feels presumptuous.

And, someone had to point out 'gripsed' was Evan Jarvis the pro and CC Ambassador?

Since I'm in the US I can only play in the US authorized games on ACR, BoL and SB. Intertops - I don't play out of complete disdain for the software.

Anyway - even if the games I can play in were streamed - I would not watch.

I gave an honest effort to watch and support the ACR stormer streamers last year - and the only two streamers I could stomach were killingbird, and Kevin Martin. All others are just kind of - dry and un-fun.

A really AWESOME streamer to watch - that does not stream anymore is PyroChaos - he used to tilt his balls off often - and it was great - comedy to watch.

I found while attempting this support that watching someone play poker - while I am playing poker is VERY distracting - and I can't do it. I'm often running 4+ tables at once so it just doesn't work. If I only had one table open - and I was bored enough - I would pull up some Lex V, but even then - I'm watching his youtube content, not live. Other than that - I do not watch streamers - it is just too distracting.

I've talked to a couple streamers about this though - and they say I can still just pull up the stream and mute/minimize the browser, because I guess the numbers help them.
So I will do this - with a couple streamers that I find to be friendly and community oriented, Gripsed among them.
