I prefer to play MTT no more than 2 tables. More already reduces attention to opponents and a lot of mistakes when making decisions.

When I'm playing MTTs I usually play 3 or 4 tables.

When I'm playing SNGs (Single Table) I play at 5 or 6 tables.

My opinion

I used to play two or three tables but the players that are dogs read my game and saud I was dissing the game when I played more then one table. They wanted a serious grind'um game.

The max tables I play at one time is 4. I rather play 2-3 though. This gives you more time to concentrate on other player's plays, and can adjust accordingly.

I play 2-4 tables if they are not very important. But eating is a very important tournament, I concentrate on it completely and only play 1 table. As the moral and emotional tension is growing then play 2 or 3 tables, I can't start just to lose and to lose their power and money...

Back in the heyday of bonus clearing I used to 8-table. Madness. You could ensure profits by basically just folding everything except JJ and up, and that was pretty much the only way you could keep up.
