Greetings to friends! He noticed a tendency: playing several tables, the game is more rude. Instead of various tricks - you just fir and that's all. Therefore, the quality of the game in my opinion is declining. Is it like that or not? Please tell me who's been at poker for a long time. Of course, in this case, due to such a rough game, 1-2 tables are eventually doubled or lost and they are more comfortable to play later. But the overall quality is falling greatly.
And if I play one table: then it turns out even in seemingly losing moments, somehow twist out. With one table, you kind of feel that the opponent wants to make the result intuitively better. True, if you lose, then emotional depression is greater. Since physically, you kind of already know them. Is it possible to continue to play always on table 1? Or at a distance is this a hundred percent mistake and loss? Thank you in advance! It is very important for me to understand now.

It's normal in the sense that it is INCREDIBLY boring. I can't play if I'm not playing 400+ hands per hour. I don't think it works out that well for me with lower amount of hands. I lose focus very easily and tend to make rash decisions to "force" action.

Hello. It's not what I think is cool, but what you feel comfortable with. Cheers to you!

No Bologna

99% of the time 1 table. Sometimes a tournament will run into another and I have to play 2 to finish up. I feel I need to devote all my attention and focus one 1 table to play my best game.

I think it's more than okay to play at the same table. This is the most efficient game ever.

I used to play at several tables at the same time, but now I try to play at one! Because I can't focus on a few and I always lose. There is such a saying in Russia - you chase two hares, you won’t catch a single one) Good luck to everyone!

I'd ask what is normal first ??? More people probably play 3 to 5 tables tournaments at a time, does that make it normal ???? Normal I whatever is normal for you. Poker is best played at your comfort level and being in the best head space possible. Be you and only you !!!

After playing for a while, I also realized that it's not always good to play few tables, sometimes I get bored when there is only one table left and I start doing questionable actions, because I'm bored! I guess I need to work really hard on my patience! But playing 400+ hands per hour is not realistic for me at all, or it will come with time! Good luck at the tables!

I completely agree with you, but I just get very bored when no cards are dealt at all, and I start doing questionable actions, which puts my game in question! I think I need to work on my patience and discipline even more! Good luck at the tables!

Thank you very much for your advice, it's really very helpful! In fact, it all depends on how comfortable you are to play well! I hope I can figure out how many tables I can play at maximum concentration soon! Good luck at the tables!

I play better with two to four tables. That usually keeps me from getting too bored and playing too many hands in any one game.

I play at one table, because most often I play from an ipad and it’s impossible to play there in parallel, but it’s convenient to learn how to take notes on players and monitor the pace of the game without assistants alone at the same table!

I prefer to play on 4 tables in parallel, it motivates me to be more focused on the game, and not to go into hands with bad cards, faster and time flies, no need to wait until someone depends

i think online playing more tables as long as you can manage is such a blessing instead of waitign for good chances on one table to be dealt to.

i cant imagine anyone playing 8 tables well. with 4 could be comfy...

I play at a maximum of 2 tables because I want to focus well. I can play at several tables but my concentration disappears and I lose quickly.

I open as many tables as possible, notice those who play a lot of tables, then leave one where they play and play against them, hoping that they cannot pay enough attention to this particular table. Sometimes I deliberately play time against such opponents (tactic). Maybe not quite ethical? But this is not a violation of the rules of the room.

I don't mind folks multi tabling but some folks would say its disrespectful to other players if you're timing out too much because you can't keep up with the action. The auto fold and auto check buttons are there for a reason. So try to be considerate of other people at the table when you multi table.

I would also tell folks that its better to focus on playing one table correctly, making notes and doing your best at one table rather than trying to play 3 or 4-8 tables poorly unless you just want to be entertained. Especially in a tourn, I believe it would be better to watch other tables and see how folks are playing and make notes on them so you don't have to wait a few hands to get a feel for them or for your HUD to kick in if you find them at your table. So yeah, I would pull up those tables before getting into playing additional tourns.

But hey, if you're a winning player at whatever you do or just want to get over that boredom of waiting for a hand to play like some folks mentioned then by all means, continue whatever you're doing and have fun. But again, please be considerate of others.

If you are trying to have fun and not to make a living, then one table is perfect.
I even have time to make cofee, go to toilet outside of break etc.

Yes, I fold some hand on timeout sometimes, but if you dont have profit as most important point, then its fine.

Thanks for the good advice, I think it will be very useful to me, and not only to me, maybe someone will read it and it will be useful to someone! Thank you so much for the good advice, I would like to see more such sympathetic and kind people! Good luck at the tables!

Now I'm trying to play 1-2 tables. Let's see what comes out of this.

One tabling, once you get comfortable - 2 tabling. if you keep being profitable, add more tables as you feel comfortable. One thing I noticed , people who multi-table usually play the GTO strategy, which can be easier to exploit.
