What you think in poker bots?

I have heard in past there are poker bots what play based on preset settings. Are people still using such a thing? If so what are your thoughts about this?

I don't think about it. I don't see the point in thinking about such things. I just play and enjoy every minute. The game brings me pleasure, so I don't care about bots

I'm just curious. Just because if there are bots there are ways how to break their algorithm if you can detect one against you and profit from that. Would be handy to get more info on this.

I think that if so, it's a way in theory of playing like a chess player plays chess.
But don't forget that poker isn't just logic.
I think if the bot played only with community card logic, it would be in big trouble when it comes to bluffing.
That is, the robot must always have the best hand to pay or withdraw.
What's more, I also don't know if I could play in position because there are times when we play hands depending on what position we are in until we call call/check to 3bets with cards in tune with color or straight against an AA for example.
The truth is that I just saw the complete EPT 2022 of Barcelona and I saw it because I wanted to see a lot of hands because I was convinced that in the online game the servers benefited the big guys with respect to the plays that the system throws on the turn and river of the flop, and I realized that in the live game there are so many variations on the cards. that dealers give each player as much as on any online betting site.
I think in that sense, if you're lucky you win and if you're not lucky on a river or you lose your stack or get eliminated.

I don't think a lot about this, because if I believe they exist it makes no sense to continue to play online poker. But there are many cases in the past that proves they existed.

That's a good question. I used to think about it a lot too and felt that even the big platforms use bots. However, I watch the numbers of e.g. Pokerstars and see how low the user numbers are compared to GG poker. So of course I wonder why they should use bots at all. They seem to be serious. On the other hand you can never tell if other players use bots. This is all just speculation.

In the past there have been bots in poker, the rooms were not very safe, but now the most famous rooms are implementing a lot of security in their software and it is very easy to detect a bots, we can be calm, the important thing is to play and have fun with these games that are great.

Some people (scammers) , also some poker rooms use bots , this has been proved , only the naive think otherwise . Bots need to be eliminated , this can be done , but poker rooms show tolerance , especially towards the best customers . Bots is a bad advertisement for online poker , people don't want to play if they know that bots are in the game . Why poker rooms show this tolerance is sth that makes me sceptical ..............

Right? Like 11 years ago lad of my school was scamming online casinos with cheatengine lol. Then i realized that anything is possible.

I know quite a few poker players, but I don't know anyone who uses bots to make money. I think that now poker sites monitor the use of such algorithms and instead of earning you can get a ban.

It's definitely possible!
A programmer can create software that from the screenshot (an example), transforms the image into data and makes decisions' alone 'based on the GTO model. There are even videos on YouTube with an App ready for sale.

But I believe it's not legal beyond the risk of getting banned and losing your money.

I know these bots can only play cash tables. I only play tournaments so they won't hurt me. The fact that they are being fought on poker sites is known from the Internet.

Hello everyone, in my oponion is a poker myth, One time im play poker with my friends, and im losses 2 times suborder, my friend had a full house with different cards ! God damn 2 times 😂😂.
Im not think online poker is rigget etc...

On the account of bots in mtt, I'm not sure that it can have such a big impact on your victory.

In any case never mind and do it your work! And the win will be come at you 😉

Pokerstars has them in high stakes cash games. I myself have observed one player constantly going all in with all sorts of nonsense and taking bets from aces and ace with king
