Twitch for the win, my favorite twitch streamers are Lex Veldhuis/tonkaaaa and jcarver (although jcarver doesn't stream so often anymore since he's quite busy in the real world). YouTube is alright as well but I believe it has a lot of biased opinions (depending on who you watch), I prefer twitch by far as most streamers (like the ones I stated above) are professional poker players and you get to interact with them lively and ask them any questions you might have straight away, plus they won't be cherry picking all their winning tournaments like most youtubers do just to show off winnings. On the other hand, watching streamers live you get to see all their ups and downs and listen to all their stances on each and every situation that they face.
Lex is not German he is from the netherlandsSome how forgot Lex V. Great streamer for poker and all around funny German
lots of good twitch poker streamers. go to twitch and search poker and check out a few that it pulls up and see who you like. spraggy, easywithaces, tonkaaaa, Jamie staples, thefan83, jcarver, moldran, xflixx, ect all good poker streamers. can learn a lot for free.
Hey cool I have seen spraggy before as well and liked him forgot about him during this post so thanks for mentioning him! and thanks for mentioning the othersI like to watch twitch, spraggy is one of my favourites. Then we got Tonka and Taples. I really like to watch them next to my own game. And sometimes they have really good tips. So thanks for posting this. Will check them out soon![]()
Watching a player play through a tournament is helpful. You get a feel of what is going on, get to take table dynamics into the equation and see real time decisions. It can be a little too quick to get a full understanding of everything if you are too new to the game. Just be careful who you are watching as there are some bad players giving bad advice out there.
I like to watch twitch.tv, I feel like I can gather new information, jaime staples, lex veldhuis and randy lew (nanonoko) these are my online teachers. I would love to make videos on twitch, but I have a lot to work)
I enjoy Twitch. I think it is a great resource for learning, but I still don't see the point in having a live chat when the stream is delayed. I completely understand why the stream is delayed though.
Excellent points ... btw see you at a number of tables always know its gonna be a freaking battle with you lol I enjoy the challenge!
