Are you in favor of being able to chat at online tables?

Absolutely, There are always players I love catching up with whom I've sat down with at final tables and what not. It gives the game some personability. However I am also a strong proponent of the mute button for each individual player. Because there is always that 1 person who is just trying to upset people and I have a hard time not pointing out their ignorance, and that's not good for my well being.

For me it does not make any difference, so, I think it's ok to have a chat available because I know there are players that like to talk during the tournament/cash game. Also there are friendly games (like the home games on PS) that I think it's more fun to have the chat available.

For me its irrelevant because I play multitable and I don't pay attention on chats
