Serious problem. Ignition Casino.

Yesterday around 6 pm I put in for a bitcoin withdrawal. This is my first withdrawal so it was only 250$. Well I don't think ill be playing anymore. I got an email last night at 3 am saying that my withdrawal was processed and should be in my wallet in 15 minutes.
Mind you I just woke up, it's now 9 am and no bitcoin has hit my wallet.
This is not cool.

Your post should read like this: "Problem with bitcoin. Well, I don't think I'll use bitcoin anymore." The reason you don't have bitcoin in your wallet is not the poker site, it's the way the bitcoin transactions are taking place. The poker site sent your bitcoin, but in order to have transactions processed in a timely manner, the miners charge fees around 20-25% now because of the demand. You cannot expect Intertops or any other site to pay mining fees to send you bitcoin.

why would I post that I am having a problem with bitcoin when ignition sent me an email saying my money was deposited. I go to my account, the 250 is gone. how is that a bitcoin problem and not a problem rooted in ignition sending an email and taking my money.

if ignition doesn't want to pay mining fees then remove bitcoin withdrawal as an option. and don't just take money out of peoples accounts.............

yeah it's a bitcoin problem!!! maybe if you say it enough itll take the blame from ignition.

Payout via bitcoin

I received the email for 15min on Dec 29 2017 ,it has been over 10 days and nothing .mine is for $1750 .This is crazy nothing yet and they don't give the transaction screen shot.

Hey Ignition just sent me a bogus check, and now they're wanting to pay me through bitcoin imagine that. I sent them my bitcoin address, but would be beyond surprised to see my winnings. I just found out little to late that this pos site isn't even licensed. They are no doubt a fraudulent site. Let's all work together to wreck this outfit.

Do you realize how ignorant you sound? I don't even play on Ignition, but I follow their Discussion and Deposit/Withdrawal threads in the 2+2 poker forum. They are 1 of the 2 biggest U.S. poker facing sites. They have their problems as do all sites, but being fraudulent isn't one of them. They didn't send you a bogus check. The processor they used did. This happens with all sites less than 5% of the time. But, it happens, which is why many sites are encouraging the use of bitcoins.

So what should he do then since the processor sent a fake check?

The checks aren't fake. The account it was drawn on has probably been closed. Most sites require you to send photocopy of the front/back of check along with a bank statement to show check was returned. Contact the site and you'll be informed precisely what you must do. Be aware this will take a couple of weeks before funds are returned to your account.

Crypto is typically the best way to deposit or withdraw and if ignition was straight up taking your money, you would see a LOT more threads like this. I understand your situation is unfortunate but contact customer care, I’ve had to go to them numerous times on bovada and ignition and every time I was left satisfied. Just don’t be afraid to not take no for an answer.

goodsaint, what's it like to wake up every morning that naive and stupid, just curious. You probably take those Nigerian scam emails literally and fake IRS phone calls serious too, am I right?

Ignition poker account not verification scam

Thanks all for your posts I learned my lesson I've sent them an email stating that I will not deposit and play unless I'm sure I ca. Withdraw any money when needed and for that I sent them all the required documentation for " verification" guess what No reply yet

goodsaint, i'm sure you think online poker is real, but I can assure you it takes absolutely no skill whatsoever to win at online poker. It's a joke. I'm really surprised anyone with any brains still plays online poker for money. The computer generated pre determined outcomes can make you win or lose anytime regardless of how well you play. As far as cashouts, so what. I've had many cashouts as well over the many years. That wasn't the point of this thread. The point was ignition sent me a bad check and then lied to me about it. By the way, when the check made it's way back to my bank it came with a letter that said the bank that sent the check had it's funds seized. So, there's my proof they lied to me.

So you had cashouts due to luckboxing ... I mean seeing as there's no skill involved in online poker.. right?
How can you 'assure us' that there's no skill involved with online poker?

Why would it be set up to make you win or lose 'anytime'.. and how does it decide on that time? And why 'me'..... and not him or her or them? Why me 'then'? Does someone watch & make the decisions? ... or is it all set up the night before (how do they even know I'll be playing the next day or even be in that hand... nevermind that game?)

If it is assuredly all luck-based (or rigged) how is it that in tournament play online there are a number of players who are winning players and at the tops of overall yearly leaderboards (& all-time leaderboards). What is it that puts them there? Do the sites put them there? How does that work out?

I can see this splitting into a sub-section headed to a special place....

poker orifice, I'm saying that it's basically video poker/slots with the illusion of playing real poker. It's all based on winning/losing pre determined patterns. I never said it was "rigged" in the sense that the system cares who wins or loses. What i'm saying is it's not like real poker nor are the odds consistent with real poker play. It is true that it takes very little skill to win at online poker, and the system is wired this way for a reason. One of the main reasons is to let people with low poker skill sets to win regardless of how well they play their hand. This benefits the site, because if the low skill players never win or get "outplayed" there wouldn't be as much player traffic which means less rake and buy ins for the site. It's all about the money and volume. It's an illusion of playing poker that is what i'm getting at. You can literally be just as successful playing video poker or slots.

Actually, you can't assure me that it takes no skill to win at online poker. But, I'm not gonna derail this thread debunking your theory. You've made no mention in your previous two posts of Ignition lying to you. Just that they were a pos site and you wanted to work with others to wreck them. As I said before, the processor, not Ignition, sent you the check. And regardless if the account was closed or funds seized, I gave you the standard suggestions that have worked for countless others who received bum checks from a poker site. Have a good day.

I guess this is why I don't win very often. I was beginning to think it was because I'm not near as good as I thought I was. I'm still a bit confused though about something, how come there are some guys who are consistently winning? I mean if you look it up online there are guys with over $5 million in online tournament cashes (some with over $10million) and quite a few of them playing online poker tournaments as their sole source of income. (I've never heard of anyone doing this on slots or video poker). Maybe it's all just a lie to help get people like me to keep on depositing on the sites? Geez I hope not (although this would answer why I never seem to get better or lucky).

fwiw, I'm gonna give Bodog a try again. Saw that the U.S. players seem happy on that site these days... which is a good thing. I've been told there's a good number of weak recreational types from the States playing poker online (& trust me, I need to on tables with very weak players if I have any hopes of winning.... although if it's predetermined i guess it doesn't really matter much)

Zorba, what the hell does you folding or raising have to do with anything, lol. I'm talking about the pre determined outcome of the hand. The winning and losing hands are determined at the beginning of the game regardless of how you play your hand, that's my whole point.
