Visa Card Can't Be Used at Gambling Sites

Hi Guys!

I am a new member here and wondering if someone could help me.

I am having an issue depositing money in my Pokerstars account as my card can't be used at gambling merchants.

Try to transfer money to an electronic purse and then transfer from your wallet to yourself in PokerStars, I refilled for myself in poker from an electronic wallet and nebylo any problems!

Some banks prevent cards from being used on poker sites. It's according to the bank you're in.
I use Skrill. You can use any one I the electronic purse such as skrill, paypal, neteller; etc.
It works for me.

Thank you so much! Do you know by chance if Entropay money can be transferred to one of those Electronic Purse you mentioned?

There is sometimes an easy fix to this - try calling your bank and have them remove block some will do it, most will not.

As most mentioned here you will have to third party it. Either through an ewallet or through a virtual card. There are many options.

What option is available and is optimal to you will be determinant by your location. Not all options are available to everyone and some works better in some locations.

Here's what to do check your Pokerstars Deposit screen for deposit options that should give you what is available to you.

Note some of these take time as you will need to provide documentation to these ewallets to get verified.

Entropay is actually an ewallet as well.

You cannot trasfer directly to another ewallet but Entropay has visa Cards available both plastic and virtual. You can use the Visa Card to deposit to an ewallet. I suggest only do this to get things started and not long term as you will incur fees from two sides.

There are also exchanges that you can use to trade different online ewallet money. They come with very high fees though.

I found that non of the prepaid canadian visa gift cards do not work.

Intermediaries used to be the way to get around the restrictions but I have found that if you fund the intermediaries using US Bank issued credit cards you will still have problems depositing into poker sites. I ran into this same problem. It wasnt until I used a VISA card issued from a Panamanian Bank that I was able to deposit.

I would try Joisi's suggestions.

My visa no longer works at PokerStars.

It was a Titanium card, prepaid, issued by Money Mart. I live in British Columbia.

Tried a bullshit option called MuchBetter. Bush league. Took four days for funds to hit MB. Not into stupid unnecessary delays for a legit poker site.

I can use my bank for WD but not depos. So I took my online play to Party. They didn’t have an issue taking money through my bank.
