Thanks a lot for sharing it. From what I’ve seen so far, some events that used to have just one starting flight will now have multiple Day 1s, which completely changes the dynamic of the tournament. I’m not a huge fan of that format, but it will probably increase the prize pools significantly.

I also liked that there will be free broadcasts to watch, which I definitely appreciate.

Who's thinking of going this year? @Mortis , @Luvepoker ? I'm not sure yet if I'll be going, but would like to go. If I'm able to go, I want to try the colossus event again or the gladiator event.

Hey Ken, if we both make it there this summer. Want to get lunch or dinner, it'd be cool to meet you person.

I managed to watch the WSOP last year. And also remember the tournaments of the past years and their winners. The Main Event will start on July 2 according to the schedule.

I was going to make a short trip this year - but when I went to book a flight it was over $800 lol. I don't want to go that bad.

I booked mine just before the war started. Prices are way up over last 3 weeks. Sad you are not going.

It seems that they want something amazing in the new format of the WSOP, I think it's incredible.

The 2026 WSOP schedule looks exciting. It runs May 26 – July 15 in Las Vegas with 100 bracelet events, so there’s something for every type of player.
I like that there are many low buy-in events and multi-flight tournaments, which give recreational players a chance to participate.

The $10K Main Event starting July 2 will again be the biggest highlight of the series.
Overall it feels balanced — good mix of high rollers, mid-stakes, and accessible events.

For poker fans, it’s going to be another huge summer.

If I end up going, I'll be in touch my friend. As of right now, I may play the last flight of the Colossus, but maybe we can meet at Southpoint on the 11th or 12th to play in a tournament and something to eat.

They add new events almost every year…there is a ladies’ event, a seniors and a super seniors events…I would like to recommend an event for 2027…Texas Hold’em for players over 73 years old, under 5’2” and over 165 lbs…count me in for that one…just a coincidence, I shall be 73 during the 2027 WSOP.

I'm not a fan of a delayed final table , but at least it's not as long as earlier 'Nov 9 ' versions .
