Did you know that West Virginia has regulated online poker since 2019? However, the state’s small population halted gambling corporations that run online casinos and sports books from opening any online poker rooms. That is about to change!

In a statement by the West Virginia Lottery Director John Myers, he states “I am pleased that our West Virginia iGaming providers will now have the opportunity to offer multi-state poker to our players, and this will greatly increase the potential pool of participants and thus allow our players to play for bigger winnings.”

Here in Brazil, Poker is allowed but the current government plans to tax Poker winnings. I'm very afraid of this because depending on your income, income tax here can reach 27%...
All governments want to do by regulating something is to take their share of the pie... So don't worry, the regulation of Poker in the USA will happen...
