Watched the video and it appears we have another Phil Helmuth (maybe even worse).
When he pushed as the short stack and was called by Hallaert, who had a huge chip stack and probably would not even lose a position in the standings, he had to say “well played”.
And with all his antics at the table against the other players, he got what he deserved.

I don't blame them for banning him, all this ranting and cussing and threatening isn't necessary but I see why they put his yapping mouth at the feature table though.

Being disrespectful and condescending to other players isn't a style it's just against the rules.

So he better behave himself next year if he doesn't want a lifetime ban of the wsop like he already has in the UK in a couple of casinos

I've seen him on other occasions. I think he's the most annoying player ever. And someone has compared him to Helmuth (Above), there's no comparison IMO. Phil is way more tolerable. In one word, a WELL-DESERVED ban, he had it coming.

I'm not buying it....., they didn't ban Tony G, Matusow, or Hellmuth,

or Martin Kabrehel who's also accused of cheating in addition to being obnoxious and never shutting up...,

but they ban this little guy...., if the rules don't apply equally to everyone it's just favoritism at that point.

You think Hellmuth is as non-stop as this guy? When he started mocking Hallaert for the all-in call, he reminded me more of Tony G. I agree with you totally that Hallaert was right to call - a minimal-risk chance to mop up chips and take Kassouf out into the bargain.

Took far too long to get here and should be a permanent life-time ban.

He maybe entertaining to watch but he's exactly the type of player ruining games and not attracting anyone to come play poker. My local casino is fill of this type of trash and it keeps the decent people from bothering to come to the casino. Hell it's why I rarely ever play live and prefer playing online. On the bright side his type are great for home games which are plentiful around here because of him and because no one will invite this type of trash to come play in their home game.

How much of it did you watch?

I watched all of the Main Event this year (3-tables on PokerGO & I'm still watching it now as they're on the bubble of the final table!), and I must say this guy has some severe mental health issues and there's no way in hell should the other players need to tolerate this crap. Apparently, Kassouf's tables were only seeing 40% of the hands as the other tables. Would you want your attempt at the Main Event hampered by this idiot's incessant nattering?
If I'm Jack Effel, I wouldn't even let the guy enter (& maybe they won't in the future).

Also, he was given EVERY possible chance and yet he STILL couldn't fall in line... at all

I haven't watched any of it this year so far.... which is an indication of how far off track they've gotten because the wsop is

the event I always watch, I don't want to see 40% of hands, I don't want to watch Martin Kabrehel and his

endless babble and suspected cheating, I don't want to watch people chip dump to a title...

don't want to watch the same tired Hellmuth routine with a goofy wig either🤔
