The new docu-series from wsop, featuring many top poker players, was removed from YouTube recently. It appears that AI had been used to replace a few quotes made by some of the players in the series titled 'No Limit'. Poker pro, Alex Keating, called out the producer, Dustin Ianotti for replacing Alex's quotes with AI-produced quotes. Ianotti owns the production company Artisans On Fire and was funded by WSOP and GGPoker.

So no apology from Dustin Ianotti, no remorse, and no acknowledgement that it was wrong to do so

Well, I take back my words "So far it has been every poker documentary ever made." from the other thread. Clearly this no longer deserves the title Documentary.

It was pretty scummy and unnecessary to use AI to change someone's words to spice things up. If your "documentary" is boring, you should find other ways to make it better. People win and lose at poker every day. Just putting that on camera doesn't make it interesting.

I think more people need to call this stuff out....,

the "producer" has a lot of nerve bragging about his integrity when clearly he has none,

this whole AI nonsense can't die soon enough for me👎

That’s messed up. Using AI to change players’ quotes without permission is really crossing the line. WSOP should address it properly, because stuff like this hurts the community. And honestly, if they start rewriting what players ‘said’, it makes the whole documentary pointless.

If it's a documentary, altering the dialogue is not good and could be classified as fiction because it romanticizes reality, but it should make it clear that it was entirely inspired by reality!

To think that a player said one thing when in reality he said another is really far from reality!
