Just like the title says, I'm wondering if there is a way to obtain hand histories from playing on BetOnline? Pretty sure there isn't a way to do so, but figured I'd ask anyway.

Yes I am aware there is so-called "hand grabber" software which can "scrape" the hands as we play, but those cost extra money and are third-party solutions.

I am also aware that internally, we can "save" our hand histories for (default) 30 days and it appears I have been able to change this to 300 days within the lobby settings... however, these hand histories are only able to be viewing with the BOL client software, is this correct? I obviously would like to be able to import my hand histories into my PT4 for hand review after my sessions. This does not seem to be possible, correct?

Finally... one other thing I am wondering about - where are the "Finished" tournaments stored, so we can see who won and/or final tabled the tournaments we play in? I have been playing PLO8 quite a bit recently, and they are small fields filled with "regs"... so I'd obviously like to keep track of finished tournaments to see which players I should be keeping a closer eye on, mainly by noticing who consistently makes deep tournament runs. Again, examining the lobby, I don't see ANY "finished" tournaments at all. Does BetOnline delete the tournament lobbies as soon as the tournament is finished, with no capability to inspect them later on? Even ACR keeps finished tournaments up for an entire day afterwards so we can return to look at them the next day.

Thanks for any advice.

Well I guess I've gotten my answer...

...and I think in all honesty, this is a site that I just do not want to play on any longer. It's not a bad site, it's just a very very small site that really doesn't offer me much of anything except just to screw around on and have fun.

Without offering players their own hand histories, a site really loses most of its value to me. I play poker because I love to play poker... but I'm on a journey, trying to get better, and the way we do this is to review our play, analyze where we might have made a strategic error or blunder... when we cannot do that, what is the point?

Perhaps BOL has its reasons for denying us this basic "right" to be able to re-examine the hands we have played after the poker session is finished, but I just can't understand what that reason could be. It's as if they're trying to hide our results from us and make it entirely about the bottom line, as if poker is only about winning money or losing money. It isn't to me, I have never played this game for money. I play poker because I love to play poker, but I have a burning desire to become the best poker player I can be, and this site is not offering the proper "customer service" to allow me to collect and review my own hands... so I suppose I need to wind down the tiny roll I have on there and stick to my principles, go find another site to play on which does offer these things.

this thread can now be closed, thanks for listening, if anyone at BOL really cares. I'm pretty certain they don't care at all.
