ClubWPT Tournament Issues?

This may be the amateur question dealing with a poker rule I’m not aware of, but I’ve had two separate tournaments “stop” on me and say I’ve finished in so and so place. In both instance, I was in the remaining 80 or less people. I wasn’t out of chips at the time.

Do tournaments just timeout after a certain period of time?

This actually happens sometimes, and they distribute the prizes in relation to CHIPEV at the moment. It is part of online poker.
