GG client update freeze

Yesterday everything worked fine, but today when I opened the client it started updating.
No biggie, it has updated many times before but today it just froze.


I gave it several minutes to run its course but that didn't resolve anything. Things look calm in the task manager also.
I re-booted my device and tried again with same results.
Gg freeze
I'll try again later but if this continues I might have to try scraping the whole thing off first and doing a new install.

I had the same thing happening to me 1h ago Dont lose your time just uninstall and reinstall and its gonna run fine.

I have 2 ideas about this.
1. incompatibility of your software with the new update (previously this happened with ACR)
2. Lack of memory on your computer. You can close the background applications through the Task Manager, as well as delete unnecessary programs.
By the way, malware can also be the cause: check your computer for viruses.
While I was writing this, I also remembered that the antivirus program itself can block updates: try disabling your antivirus program and perform an update.

Probably the best solution to make a clean re-install.
Update worked normal for me

Re-installing did the trick.
I have lots of memory and high quality antivirus. Those have never been a problem.

But clearly the update is flawed cause I lost the freebie ;)

Similar problem here...

Today I tried to open the client after some days, it runs for a while, but suddenly closes (I already tried to re-install the client).

Looks like you've done it.😊 Yes, I would also like to suggest deleting the App completely and installing it again. there was also an idea for you to play with the magic combination Win+R - I use it when I check my laptop for viruses, miners, and so on.😃

it is none of the above ^

It is an issue on GG's end.

You can uninstall and then do a fresh clean install & it should resolve the issue.

then i go to site they redirect me on local "fork", where i don't have account, that's why i trying find somethere EU client...

I did the very same thing. Works now, although I now have two GG icons on the desktop.

I was unable to play on GG too, but today at morning I did reinstall the desktop client and now it's fine
For mobile app was no issues at all
