I think the systems don't work with landlines.
You're probably getting a automated call or message to verify.
But you need a cellphone for that.
If you don't own one , there must be a different option for you .
[email protected] usually answers within 48 hours .
Contacted them multiple times and always received competent support.
I know there is an own support line for UK members but they should answer you too
