Are there full ring cash games? I don't know if I'm blind or what but I only see 6 max.

Quite a few sites have gotten rid of full ring cash games, but they still exist on PokerStars, 888 Poker and ACR. There might be others as well.

They removed full ring cash tables in 2019 due to the low popularity.

Why would you want to play full ring in online cash games seems like a terrible play:(

You should try another room. It is already news that if you are a winner in this room sooner or later your account will be blocked. I say this because of what has happened previously in this room

I'm playing nl5 right now and it works for me. I'm gonna switch to 6 max later. I would have to be more focused to multi table 6 max, I think.

It's all good, I play on pokerstars. I was just looking around for a different option.

Why? Its a matter of personal preference, and most live games or even online tournaments play with 8-9 players at the table.

Even on ACR I see only 1 table of 9-max or two, amost always occupied with a long wait list.

I dont like these 6-maxers.

The rooms want more variance, craziness and volatility, maybe also more rake through 6-max. (more frequently in the blinds).

William Hill seems to have 9-max, but everytime I apply for a game there, there is: waiting for more players and nothing ever happens...

I hadn't noticed before but they have a link at the bottom/right called "Hold'em Information":

that brings up a page with the game parameters for all the Hold'em cash tables:

I noticed this also, when I last visited the ACR lobby. Full ring cash tables still exist, but they dont draw a lot of activity.

It is mainly a question of player preferences. PokerStars did not remove their Zoom full ring tables (other than 2NL) to earn more rake. They removed them, because they stopped playing and never started again. Its easier to get a regular table started, because it only requires two players. But even so if few people wants to play a certain game, it makes little sense for a poker site to continue offering it. Better then to focus on those games, that are more popular.
