why does 888poker always lose to the river cards what a site it is for playing poker

i have played on 888poker for three years only won 3 times on it

At this point it looks too fishy to be a coincidence, every time I have 90%+ chance the river comes and every time the villain hits it, this happens in every hand I play, I know there are bad beats but this is just stupid.There is a team of scammers there, I only play freerolls there.

They removed a bunch of players, blocked access for Russia and Belarus, and the game became even worse.

What I do know is that large sites should be audited... at least that's what they say. I'm not 100% sure, but because of that, I tend to think it's just a matter of variation.
At the same time, I'm still a little suspicious. Sometimes I even jot down, mark small lines on paper when I go all-in pre-flop or on the flop. When I'm the big favorite, I mark, and in the end I usually end up with zero to zero or with a small profit.
The thing is, in theory, I should be winning much more often, like 70% or something... so, yeah, that sometimes makes you question everything.

Just for clarification. Do you mean that you've only been in the money 3 times, or that you've only finished 1st three times. or something else?

Personally I've always been suspicious of any online online poker. The reason being that it is so easy for other players to be in collusion and tell each other what cards are in their hands, in addition to other forms of cheating. For that reason anything I do online is for micro limits or free rolls.

I think its very rare in practice. In reality most winning regs are multi tabling so arent going to have the time to collude/cheat (and looking up the gto solution is not necessarily that useful in practice at low stakes).

Actually 888 is a great site. One of the best.
Cool freerolls, good promotions.
But if your results do not satisfy you, it does not mean that the site is bad. I think the problem is more in the player than in the site

That's how it is, most of the time you won't be in the money. Lately I've been getting stuck on the bubble and most of the time I get eliminated with big hands.

Try to play GGpoker, u will change your mind fast. Tbh until u do not see 100% at turn or flop there is always chance you will lose on river. It is ok here

Yeah u got it all figured out with your mark of small lines on a paper. Doubt someone who does stuff like that is a winning player at all but carry on with your "i should be winning more this and that" theory 😅

Haha, relax, it's not “planned”, it's just a simple way to observe some places.
I know that alone doesn't prove anything, especially with a small sample. But it's also not wrong to question things when the short-term results don't match the theory.
In any case, I understand that in the long term everything balances out. It's more curious than trying to prove something.
