U.S. players can make accounts. And Im not sure about the sports betting.

I read in other threads that Bodog was leaving the US market. Now that they changed name to Bovada. It would be nice to know if indeed they are still US friendly.:icon_salu

US Players can make accounts (Pretty much made just for US Players, but you still play international players because they are on Bodog Network also)

I think bodog is ded for us players, u get migrated to bovada. They just changed the name for us players, hiding the money i suspect.

To answer the question of the OP. In my opinion, short handed PLO is the fastest way to earn poker points. Make sure you are properly bankrolled.

i would be scared to play cash, shorthanded is even worse......for example player #3 sits at a table with his buddy # 4, then #3 leaves and comes back as player #6

i have about 300 or 400 points on bodog/bovada, not sure what much to do with them, its not enough to convert into cash so they are just lying there since months...

Rake Points
$1.00 - $3.00 1.00
$0.50 - $0.99 0.50
$0.25 - $0.49 0.25
$0.05 - $0.24 0.10
$0.01 - $0.04 0.05
that is from the site, tourneys and sit/go's do 3 points per 1$ of entry fee, so in my opinion it is pretty evenly distributed. I am mainly a tourney player, and for anyone reading this from google I would like to say the tourney section has gotten much better since this post, there are plenty of daily garentees, this site also got me into Omaha Hi which I have never played before, but now am a pretty big fan.

The game you play should have more hands per hour per table with the largest rake. I suggested PLO short hand rings since the pots are bigger than NL Holdem another game which no longer applies much is short handed FL holdem since there are more players seeing the flop and creating larger pots. Bovada has a four table limit on multitabling. There are not a lot of players who play at FLHE as much as ten years ago. I would then modify my suggestion to playing 4 tables of PLO at as high a stake as you can handle with proper bankrolling
