Sit & Go's on 888poker are kind of a misnomer ...

You can sit, but it never goes anywhere.

On the site of the competition you can play anytime of the day, with any given buy-ins, but since I became a member on 888 two months ago I've yet to play successfully in a SnG over there.

Don't feel like playing MTTs all the time, which are admittedly always very well-frequented.

I have not played on 888 Poker since late 2021, but back then there was at least some SnG activity. Of course it depends on, which time of day, you play, and which exact games you register for. This is also the case on other sites. Even on PokerStars not all SnG formats run 24 hours a day.

Of course 888 Poker can not match the level of activity, you find in the SnG lobby on PokerStars. But neither can other small sites like ACR. The SnG lobby on ACR also show SnGs, that are running, and at certain times of day thats like 3-4 games distributed across all the different formats.

Yes there is not a lot of traffic but here and there they are opening up. It also very much depends when you play. European hours are a lot more busy on 888 poker. At least in my opinion.

I don't understand why this happens because I play regulary cash games on 888poker and 99% of the times it has a good traffic of players (micro-small stakes). I try to play sit'gos a couple of times and I couldn't because there wasn't enough players, so, I gave up of sit'gos there. I just play the cash games and MTT's.

I played a lot of SNGs in the past there. At the end I was playing mostly 6-max turbos at $10 and $20 buy-ins there. But meanwhile they are not available anymore for me in Germany. Only up to $5 buy-in. So I mostly play them at PS meanwhile.
Well, maybe I should ask the reputant of 888 here, why it is like this.

i play $1 sit and go at 888. normally i wait beetween 5-15 minutes to play but in some hours (about 02-08 gmt) then the traffic is too low.

Most likely these games were just taken down, because they were seldomly played. PokerStars have taken down all their 6-max SnGs and a ton of other formats as well. In short SnGs are a dying game format and has been for several years.
