This is hit or miss. Sometimes you win back more than $20 (ideally you hit big so you keep the coins and get a big payout too). Sometimes you win less than how much you paid and that's just lost coins then.

I'm using my phone and it appears as my balance is a mix of my money and my casino coins when at the Casino. So, while playing I have no idea which one is using. But what I did was I played a bit then quit and check my balances to see what it was using.

Usually the casino coins get used first and then your balance after. You can see on the tab that you can expand from the left side.
