888poker-installation problems

I have deleted the cache and cookies. When I open the application it says checking for updates. Then ultimately it says it cannot connect to the server.

I'd start by trying to see if you can get 888 running on a different computer. I've never come across a Mac user playing 888. Hopefully someone on here has experience with that.
