Multi tabling

Is it possible to multi table using a 12 inch laptop computer? Or or should I buy a biggie monitor. I would really appreciate your help on this?

You can multi table on pretty much any laptop. However in the long term I would play on a monitor. I use a 24" monitor and I love it. I can put a crap ton of tables on it compared to a laptop screen.

it depends on a few things IMO.
Are you comfortable with stacking? then it doesent matter, as long as you are ok with the visuals of seeing your tables on a screen that size. But you need to have an AHK program or the site has to have a hot key function.

If you cascade (where you will need AHK as well to have comfortable control) or tile, you will almost certainly be more comfortable with a bigger screen.

Best way is to try. No one can really tell you what you will be more comfortable with. You have to determine that yourself.

Thanks so much for all your replies. Should i multi-table 4 on my Microsoft Surface pro 3 which has a 12 inch screen and use the $500 dollars that i was going to spend on a widescreen monitor for my bankroll playing limit $1, $2?

If you play on low limits don`t spend to much for monitor.
You can play mulitableing with any laptop unil 9-12 table. A littlebit harder when you use tracker programs, in this case bigger monitor is better so you can see HUDs clearly.
Good luck at the tables!

Ideal size/option for multitabling

If moving up to 15 tables is my goal, would multi-screen be my best option?

You could get used to cascading and stacking tables which is not a bad option, but it can sometimes become too cluttered on a laptop which can lead to you clicking the wrong button and making mistakes. If I were you, I would invest in buying a large monitor where you can multi table comfortably. Ultimately, you need to try it out yourself first and see if it feels comfortable for you. You don't want to spend your money on something that doesn't work for you.

I have used in past a projector with a 7 1/2 ft screen for my media center. U can incorporate not only computer but smart devices along with cable, etc and all hooked to surround sound. I was able to have all this under $1500. If you watch resale sites you can normally get a really good deal on all the components. If you don't want to go that route you can also direct hookup via hdmi cable most laptops to TV and use as monitor. I have that setup as well on our 60in. Then I purchased a wireless keyboard and mouse combo. It makes it nice to sit on couch and play. Not including tv just cords and keyboard was about $30

I like this idea. I have a 19" monitor & 65" smart TV. Had thought about going to a 32" monitor but the TV sounds like a plan. :D

Obviously, you will have to buy another large monitor. I believe that first of all, for good results, you need to have a well-equipped play area.

Hi there! I think, if you want to play the many tables, anyway need to buy a big monitor at once: the more the better! So you save the eyes, and most important your nerves, since a good nervous system -- this means right and calmly evaluation positions. And by the way you will save money... Have a good proverb: a miser pays twice! Good luck bro for tables!..;)

I play in several pokerrooms, each one on an own device. So e.g. 888poker on a tablet, pokerstars on mobily phone, partypoker on laptop. In case of connectivity problems or problems with the software, not all games are disconnected.

I HDMI my Lenovo Laptop to a 55" TV and love it for Multi Tabling.

You can split the screens so you have more than one monitor going.

Works great for me :)

I play on a 27in monitor usually with 6 screens tiled and then space to stack more tables on top. I don't usually play anymore 6 at a time though.

I do about 4 game at once on my laptop screen, which is small. When I use the desktop with monitor, I can manage a few more on a 17 inch screen.

It's possible on the laptop for sure. I'm not a big multitabler, but when I plug into my 32in tv, it is so much better for real!

Going to check to see if I can hook up to my tv, that would be nice. I am on a laptop & I can only handle 4 tables
