Party poker laggy?

I've been having problems with my PC, and party poker isn't the main place I play, but I had some cash on there, and opened up 2 fast forward rooms (or whatever they call them, don't recall), and they were lagging so bad as to make them virtually unplayable. I have 32G RAM and a pretty stable connection and I frequently play 2 or more tables at ggpoker (my main client) without any problems.

Just trying to figure out if it's my PC being tricky, or if party poker just gets laggy sometimes.

Zero LAG (4-tabling FastForward tables)
10yr old 4th gen. i5
16GB Ram
hardwired internet - 880 Mbps download speed, 105 Mbps Upload speed

Play a couple of table at Party with other clients open and it can lag a bit but catches up.

PC is 5+ yrs old running i3 processor and 8GB RAM

Maybe try un-install/ re-install the Partypoker client. I know that this is what Colette would often recommend when players were having difficulties with the site.
And just to re-affirm for you, Partypoker runs like a dream for me (on my old computer (I do have an added Video Card though... but I also run 3 monitors, 32in, & 2x 24in.).
With a new'ish' computer (I'm assuming this seeing as it has 32GB Ram), you should be able to run 5 or 6 poker sites simultaneously with 12 to 20+ tournaments running on them, along with PT4, Youtube, Twitch streaming.
My older computer unfortunately tops out once I have 4 or more sites running with the CPU being the bottleneck (I have a better CPU but just haven't got around to installing it... mostly out of fear of wrecking my current computer setup, lol... sigh)

I figured what the problem was. I had incompatible drivers that were causing me problems.

How did u figure that out exactly? have the same problem and all my drivers are updated.

Well that's a story. Here's the shortest version I can manage...

I've been having lots of mystery problems for months. Not just party poker, but certain video games as well. I've been ruling things out and researching things the whole time, mostly coming up against brick walls. I use a digital audio interface and monitor speakers for sound, and have for a few years, so I didn't think they would have anything to do with the problem, but when I recently changed my video card the problems started, and I followed all the ordinary video card related troubleshooting steps. A little while later my audio started getting distorted sometimes. I assumed it was unrelated, and I replaced my interface on warranty. When I got a brand new replacement, it happened again (along with the lagginess, and even freezing and crashing). I started researching problems with digital audio interfaces, and the Sweetwater (pro audio retailer) website suggested that some generic audio drivers can cause problems. I assume the AMD drivers that came with my new video card updated or "activated" the realtek drivers, because that's when my problem started. They stopped when I disabled the realtek audio on my motherboard.

TLDR, if you're not using a digital audio interface, then you are probably having a different problem than mine. If you are, try turning off your realtek drivers.
