What software would you recommed for the spin & go on pokerstars? Or none at all since the games are so short?

I think you could try to find some charts for push or fold situations on 3-max and heads up. There are some charts for different stack sizes (in BB of course), so you could have those open, to have better understanding of what is good to ship (which will happen a lot).
Other than that, I don't think that any HUD would be meaningful because of small number of hands.
