Do you think it is possible that in the future poker will become a bigger game and maybe it will be at the Olympics?

There is wsop, isn't it? The thing is this kind of competition would require some time nad shit ton of volume. Too much luck factor for olympics, imo.

In the Olympics I think it's very difficult, although there is chess, but I think the world federation would not approve.

In Europe and America, certain types of card games are already recognized as sports. The game of poker is often compared with the intellectual game of chess, checkers, billiards. I think this game will never be played at the Olympics. However, poker in its modern form does not meet the criteria of a sport. The prospect of including poker in the program of the Olympic Games looks rather illusory so far.

But for now, in many countries of the planet, poker is banned by the authorities, not in the majority, but in many. Seems, others consider it not just an intellectual game.
Many want to get into the Olympic tournament, not to say that poker has a good chance, other sports games with physical activity have not been able to get into the Olympics for many years.

Yes, of course it's possible that this will happen because many games have become like this because of their popularity

As far as the Olympic committee goes, the level of corruption present in your standard Olympic committee should make poker an easy in.
I am unaware of the game of chess being added to the Olympic list

No i dont think that it will happent because if they wanted they would already make poker like nathional game.World economy is dying and i am worried that because of that many more countries will ban more poker sites so they can earn more taxes :(

I am absolutely sure that poker will never become an Olympic sport. Too much of a random part, and that bee lived this part should only increase, and this is not conducive to skill.

Yes, poker tournaments are large-scale, and in poker, there is little chance that it will become a more global game due to the high level of luck, but still, the skills required are also very good

Although I believe that poker is a sport, I doubt very much that poker will ever be recognized as an Olympic sport.

its only cause any card game is considered a board game, and there is a group of people who try to compete for the title of best board gaming mind.

poker will never be in the olympics. isn't it understandable when poker is viewed as gambling by lawmakers?

In my country, poker is quite a popular game. But I personally don't consider poker a sport. Poker is a game of chance in the full sense of the word. Of course, poker has some features in common with sports, but a lot of activities have features in common with sports. I don't think that poker will ever become an Olympic sport.
