Buying at such a low level is basically unprofitable

No. You don't have the odds to call to hit your flush.

Preflop
Since this is a bounty tournament, I would try to isolate MP by 3-betting and getting it all-in preflop against him. The issue with just calling is, it allow all the players behind into the pot, and if one of them 3-bet, QJs is not really strong enough to call.

Flop
Calling the first 900 is of course fine, and there is no point in raising with Q high into a dry sidepot. When BTN jam, we cant analyse the situation without knowing the bounties, because the bounties are essentially like an extra ante giving you better pot odds. So it matters, if you can only win 2 x the starting bounty, or if more money is up for grabs.

But barring very large bounties it looks like a fold. The direct pot odds are not great, you dont have an overcard or a gutshot to go along with the flushdraw, and there is also a risk, you could be against KX of clubs, where you are almost drawing dead. In a situation like this you need to dig a bit deeper than just looking at your hand as a flushdraw, and having AJ of clubs would be way better than having QJ of clubs.
