Honestly bad call in hindisight but in the moment given SPR and having equity on that flop while also considering villain may not have an ace here I just called

Preflop
You are less than 25BB deep, and with this stack depth I would rather jam and be done with the hand than 3-bet small. Or if you want to play tricky, then just call and see a flop.

Flop
Pretty gross spot, and its not often, you are ahead here. But being against AA, AK, AQ or KQ is the worst case scenario. Against everything else you at least have 6 outs, which is enough for decent equity. So overall I think, its an ok call. But I would rather avoid the situation by taking a different line preflop.

On flop we can blocker bet fold vs straight forward players- instead of check call their "maybe" bluffs Betting 1bb and getting jammed on has so few bluffs that we do not lose EV folding
We would of course also 1bb AA etc
