Man, this is so on pint cuzz frankly I just won a HU series ending with AK vs 66 & I won, so your mindset statement was razor sharp on point. Wow, there's a lot going on n this thread...

That would be a coin flip. If you have more chips than him, I would almost always call.

With two over cards I enter the hand, yes. I think I have a good chance of taking the hand. so in my opinion and an option I would not miss. I have the chance I will.

I personally have come to like pocket pairs. They hold up nicely at times. I think your answer is in you 55% v 45%.
I'm short stacked you dang right I'm shoving with any pair.
I'm deep stacked and I have a chance to knock out a short stack... guess what, shove!

if someone goes all in and you know he has any small or medium pocket pair, is it worth it to call with A-K or A-Q in heads up?

and you have a little over 2-1 chip lead

If you have roughly equal stacks and you think you are good at reading your opponent, what's the point of calling you all in? In that case, it's an easy fold, because you have many more hands to win) If your stack is half the size of your opponent's stack, then the automatic call is all-in, as your chances of winning are roughly the same. in any case it's a lottery and you can not be sure of victory, so consider all the information about the opponent and make a decision with a cold head)

When the player raises and I have a AK-AQ-AJ card, then I call to see the flop, then when the flop does not have suitable cards for me and the player keeps raising the bet, I drop the cards because the player can have a small pair and another option I play all-in on good cards but sometimes they interrupt me in small pairs
