I think in zoom tt you have to have more luck then read you opponents. You play one hand then moved to other table where you have no idea who you play against. And i think for begginer like i am zooms are out of question. OR AM I WRONG?:joyman:

Zoom tournaments are not a particular popular format, so certainly no harm in skipping them, when there are plenty of other options available. I dont hate them, but I do find, that if I have a Zoom tournament and 3 regular tournaments running, the Zoom tournament tend to take most of my attention. But if you are only playing one tournament at a time, then they make sense, since you get to play a lot more hands per hour, just like Zoom cash games.

try zoom cash tables) there is generally solid action + a large number of hands are played, you will get good practice

The constant change of opponents is a difficult game. I tried this game. It's difficult for me.

Zoom is too stressful for me :)

I prefer regular mtts instead.

I think this format is more for hyper active action junkies :)

Well I also think that the weak part of mtt zoom is the player reading, more generally in the final phase with 27 players it becomes a normal mtt where you must have already faced some of the players. As for the second question I think zoom are ideal for new players just for what you said, which are difficult to read, is everything an opponent with little experience needs. I once played these mtts, but now I've been studying micro, low, medium and high mtts, usually in turbo or regular time, in addition to sit n gos:)

I really love this format of the tournament, you play fast and fun, and if it's also a knockout, it's doubly nice)))

I think zooms are fine but the super turbo zooms en turbo zooms not really your blinds go down quick and you will end up going all-in superwide if you dont build a good stack in the first 20min, in the normal zoom you have more time to make a decent stack and wont have to go all-in with a wide range

Zoom tournaments and their similar versions on other sites need to e played differently from the cash games in my opinion.
I would play them as a semi-normal tournament. Never fast-fold, only fold when it is your time to act. Biggest problem with this format of tournament is that you can plough through vastly more hands than other players. This results in your stack dropping much faster than other players if you do not get any ood hands.

The fact that you are moved to another table and you don't know anyone is the same for all. I like them because they are more exciting and different.

Loved them when played torneys. No waiting for players to run the clock down then fold. Just move on.

I have not played any Zoom MTT's only Zoom cash tables. Never knew they were available. I would assume they are very advantageous for a player with an agressive style of play. I do not think it would go well with my style of play, which is a rock or nit style of play.

I don't like that kind of tournament either, I can't play it because they are too fast.
