Hello CardsChat!

I have been a professional tournament player for 14 years. 2.5 years ago I started my own YouTube channel youtube.com/c/JeffBoski to document tournament poker in Las Vegas. Many of my vlogs have been controversial, but I feel that is the best way to show the realness of my unique occupation. I have visited fine steak houses, massage parlors, strip clubs and many casinos in the 300+ vlogs I have uploaded.

I have longstanding accounts on Pocketfives and Twoplustwo but I am new to this forum. Feel free to Ask Me Anything!

-Jeff

Hi Jeff, welcome to the forum.

I’m a MTT player online (micro stakes) I play mainly the BIG $0.55, $1.10 and $2.20 on Pokerstars. I make the payouts in the majority of tournaments I play. But I very rarely make the final table where obviously the most money is. Have you got any tips on how to make the final table more often?

Thanks.

Be fearless and aggressive and embrace the variance that it brings. You have to take more risks and not worry about being the bubble boy. Aim to be the chip leader at the final table and you will able to use your chips as weapons against the shorter stacks that are looking to move up the payouts.

I will be mainly playing at the Rio and Wynn/Encore. As a general rule, the bigger the field, the softer the tournament. Play as many "themed" events as possible. Practice good meta game to tourney select. For instance, on a given day if there is a 5k at the WSOP, a $1600 at the Wynn and a $500 at the Golden Nugget, the softest field on that day will be at the Nugget. All of the pros will choose to play the 5k or $1600. Don't let your ego get in the way of your profitability.

Well to the forum Jeff Boski.

Sigh another Jeff that will kick my butt at the tables.

I am sure you will enjoy your time here with our friendly community.

I don't know about you and never heard about you before but I thoroughly enjoyed Post #5 above. That is my mantra embrace the variance and use the pain to come back better next time and also use chips to apply pressure to not only the shorter stacks but anyone that enters the pot.

My question is a simple but important one do you eat pineapple on pizza?

I have enjoyed a ham and pineapple pizza with ranch in the past. I prefer mushroom and pepperoni with extra cheese.

Strip clubs massage parlours subscribed:p
lol at that Q3 V QQ hand on smknginmaine thread:)
Cool u tube videos Jeff watched that one where you returned just under 5k good karma.
Friend of mine dropped his wallet with two thousand euro in it in work one night when he was getting off a forklift looking everywhere frantic for it,:D
Told the lads in work they had a great laugh while he was looking for hours:hahaha:
Only when we where about to clock out 8 or 9 hours later returned it to him he could not believe it insisted on handing me 20 which I did not want but meant more than keeping thousands by deceit.
Nice to get that $100 voucher
Good karma follows will be sure to check out some other clips.

Just to clarify... Jeff's the man.
The hand you reference in my screen shot only shows the end result.
I had just sat a hand or 2 before and Jeff got hit and was down to a BB or two-
Went in pre.
I luckily had QQ and plenty to cover = monkey call click.
By no means did I out play!

I got lucky- and it looked cool- so I used it :)

.....hmmmm :smokin:

Thanks for subscribing, I hope you enjoy all the vlogs. I thought the BANNED vlog brought up many good ethical debates. Unfortunately many people saw me in a bad light, but I wanted to put it out there for discussion while trying to be as vague as possible.

I must have been very short stacked to get in Q3o. Usually not in my preflop range.

My previous fav AMA =

The bar is set -nearly as high I- with Ricky's AMA above.

But I'm betting, cause that's what I like to do.

This AMA gonna win :)

Have you figured out any new ways to get paid twice for the same tournament? Just kidding, welcome to CardsChat :)

Hahaha. u were way SS. Maybe less than the BB or two I mentioned.
That's why I said- and I meant
no outplay
- no play really- u had maybe an ante and rebought after to get back to play.
made sense
and as a bonus
you unknowingly- at the time- made my microstakes ACR evening.
Thank you :)
