I don't like tournaments with too long late registration times. Half an hour is the optimal time in my opinion.

i prefer playing moving up slowly myself so rarely late reg but if you want in a game and its what you have its fine...just something i dont use much

I like max late reg, especially when there are tournaments where you enter with 25 blinds. I don't mind entering short in some tournaments.

I think that this strategy is all about luck. It's a kind of coin flip strategy. I don't think that this strategy can produce good results in the long term.

You need to be lucky if you late reg as the blinds will be high relative to your starting stack. Ideally you need to play approx 30 mins before registration ends so you can gauge the rhythm of the tables and build a stack with less risk.

In my opinion there should never be a late registration, enter and if you are not there, you start losing chips, plain and simple,
I like WPT tournament, if you miss the start, you miss it period.

Sometimes this is beneficial, but for me the late registration of 2 hours is too much.
