Ran a big bluff and it got through. How'd I do?

This is WPTG fast fold 8-max in CNY 0.2/0.5/1, something between NL10 and NL20. 100 Chinese Yen is about $14 US.

well good bluff , my thoughts on opp's hand is Ax with Spade, like AJo , AKo, AQo even if you block them. His playin so predictive here.

Preflop
Standard open and standard call of the 3-bet. Just as a side note its quite fishy to cold call a 3-bet from SB, especially in a 3 blind configuration, so right off the bat I would think, that SB is probably not a very good player.

Flop
Standard check.

Turn
They have both shown weekness by checking, but even so I am not crazy about starting a bluff here without a spade in my hand. Its just nice to have a bit of back-up equity when called. So I prefer to check and hope, that it checks through once again.

River
I think, your hand fail the fundamental river question, which is, "can I get better hands to fold or worse hands to call". Here you are clearly not getting any worse hand to call, but there are also not many better hands, that will fold. He could have AK with a spade, and that hand will likely fold now, but it would also have 4-bet pre at least some percentage of the time. So it is at least discounted somewhat.

And if he has a hand like 99 or JJ, then he will most likely call you again. So as played I would check back here and take a showdown. You actually win sometimes against hands like AJ or KQ with a spade, so you dont need to bluff. He folded, but in my opinion there is like a 50/50 chance, he folded a hand, you were already beating, and then your bet did not accomplish anything.

I would think that given SB is a weaker player, they would just call to see the flop so it's definitely in their range.

So are Ax with an ace of spades that may have hit a pair on the flop.

Also there are AK without a spade that beat me and that's really why I don't want to go to showdown here.

Just in general I have found that if I go to showdown in these situations, I see small pairs that stuck around for way too long, and the above.

Not saying this is a solid bluff against good players, but just some of my reasoning.

Is AX without a spade really calling your big turn bet? That seems kind of unlikely to me.

Just in general I have found that if I go to showdown in these situations, I see small pairs that stuck around for way too long, and the above.

But if the opponent calls to much with weak pairs, why do you think, he will fold it now on the river? Its not like, the river really changed anything. Maybe you can have a few hands, that hit the T, but its not nearly as good a scare card as a A or K. So if he called you with A8 on the flop, would he not just call you once again?

The way, this hand went down, I think, your turn bet is actually leaning more towards a bet for value, than you perhaps thought. I think, paired hands lead the turn at least some percentage of the time, when the flop get checked, so I think, a lot of his check-calling range are unpaired hands with a single spade in them. And you beat everything other than AK from that part of his range. Its even possible, that you got the preflop 3-bettor to fold AK and then got SB to call you with a worse hand in order to draw, so that your turn bet ended up being a combobet.
