**AA is on SB, but I can't change the title of the post**

2NL fast-fold 6max. This one can be posted in a single screenshot.

Hero has 102bb on SB with AA facing a 2.5bb open from UTG followed by a trail of calls from HJ, CO, and BTN.

Pot size before hero's preflop decision is 11.5bb.

Is there a suggested 3bet size here or is this a jam? I was thinking if I would 3bet, it would be to 22-25bb, but I didn't because:
  • I felt in this situation there would be too many players coming along or
  • someone else would jam anyway and
  • a jam from me could have the greatest chance of folding out the most players and
  • I want to isolate UTG if possible

Standard sizing out of position is 4X plus the calls, so in this case 20c + 3x5c = 35c. Given that its 2NL, and people hate to fold, you can size up a little and make it 40-45c. This still does not commit them to the pot, and you will almost certainly get action from at least one player.

others have stated the standard sizing
the factors that allow us to deviate from that are how does our player pool play? we want to be paying attention to the frequency that our V take certain actions-- 50% of the time- 20% of the time -90% of the time what is the freq that we have observed. That dictates our action.
1 We would 3-bet GTO to 15bb and then UTG 4 bets --GTO UTG 15% 4 bet (raise and jam together) but calling only 7%
we need this to happen at these frequencies to not consider deviating our sizing
2 UTG calls more often than 7% ---but the IP players fold at a high frequency-- we can stay with the GTO 15bb
2A UTG same -- IP call more often- then we want to adjust our sizing larger--the benefit is our V may think it is a steal squeeze and play for stacks with TT 99 etc-- we can use 20bb or more- we want to get a feel for that vs each player pool
3 All-in works in some player pools but fold frequency is key here that is the data point you want

Jamming is terrible (even at 888 2NL where you might get a call occasionally). You might make opener think twice with AJ,, KQ, middling pairs which would be a disaster.

Don't worry too much about forcing folds, obviously we don't want to take AA multiway but you can't control how many callers you get, just charge them a heavy price to see a flop. exploitive 35..40c as suggested feels about right, you can easily get your stack in post with the pot size if called.

I'd size up slightly and go close to 1/4 of your stack. I don't hate jamming here either because I don't think 2nl anyone w/ AK, QQ-TT probably has the discipline to fold pre (and you'll probably get some worst calling). But the higher EV play is just 3-betting.
