I have 10h 6h on BTN. To my right, Sir Limpsalot CO limps again. I raise him to 16c. SB folds and BB folds.

Flop comes a dreamy 10d 10c 6d. BB checks, CO lets out a weird 16c bet into a 50c pot.

I put him on a small PP or somehow a weird ace high hand to test the waters (I've seen guys do this. Not enough history with villain to know)

On the off chance that he had a flush draw (which I didn't think he had, but it was possible) I decided to just call and hope he hits. If he had a T he probably would lead out again on the turn. BB folds.

Turn comes 2d to complete a flush. Villain checks.

I bet half the pot. He folds.

Is the correct play to raise the flop? I've taken the aggressive tactic mostly but they all just fold, so I decided to slow play it a bit with a monster and hope they make a hand on the turn or river.

Nice play here! If the villain really do no have anything, you can hardly get more value from him.

only slow play with such a beautiful flop

It seems that the villain just have something like gut shot straight draw.

No, I think you did about as well as you could. The only other thing you might have done would be to bet less on the turn. Observant opponents will eventually notice you betting less with strong hands (to tempt more calls), but that's not something I would be too worried about here unless you play with the same opponents frequently.
