At the turn, I thought that it was unlikely for anyone to have a triplet since everyone checked, so I believed I would have the highest equity. I used a time bank card then raised to the maximum wanted to trigger a fold as there was a risk to be outdrawn, but the villain called with a straight draw and won it.

Could I play this hand better?

I am not a PLO player, but the turn play seems fine to me. As you say, you got outdrawn. Not so sure about preflop though or starting with a broken stack.

Definitely fold pre. We should play pretty tight form the small blind, and this is a very weak hand. Flop looks good. Turn I think we should probably just pot ourselves, since SPR is pretty low. Although the board is so wet I don't mind check raise, like I want to bet all my money or none of it, rather than have to play a river when all the rivers are going to suck, but we are still favoured over almost all draws on the turn.
