Pretty sure calling pre is pretty standard here. My 1st question is would you have called the 1st bet on the flop, obviously calling the raise after making first call. Curious as to how people would have played this.

I'd like to say I would fold it pre-flop (Im pretty sure thats what youre supposed to do), but I probably would've called it from the big blind. Maybe even the flop bet too once you got 4 spades with 2 cards to go. After a blank on the turn though I definitely woulda folded. Nice that you got lucky though (as long as the other person didnt have a full house of course)

Unless the opener is a spew tard (I mean on of them 70/50 types) then just fold pre.

Moved to the correct forum....

I'm okay with the call pre, getting a squillion to one against fish, and great relative position to the preflop raiser. But you need to shove that river to get max value, even if it seems on the thin side. The winrate of calling in this spot will depend on how well you can max out when you hit.

I think 2 people in here say they are folding turn.... Did you guys see the bet? I was getting ridiculously good odds on the turn, theres absolutely no no no way I'm folding the turn in that spot can't see how that could be correct. Are you guys worried about bigger flush draw or something? And as for ladt poster, if it hadn't paired the board I would have jammed river instead had to crying call and turned out with good reason as villain flips 1010.

Calling pre is not "standard". I think it's pretty bad tbh.

Fold pre.

Postflop I play the same. Its a horrible situation this hand has got you in to. Your getting priced in all the way knowing full well all your outs are never clean. Even this river it's only T9 we beat.
