Hi, so I played around 130 hands today on full tilt at $2NL.
I started to use a HUD on the table since I'm fairly newish to HUDS, I was running at around a VpIp of 27% and PFR of 13%.. Now I know myself that this is loose but I really weren't aware of me playing like this as I didn't check my own stats until I had finished the session which last around 2 hours and I lost around $4-5. I took a few bad beats and times I'd get my money in with lots of out and just didn't get lucky.
What sort of stats should I be aiming for since I thought I was playing quite solid poker but I guess not.
Also what should I be looking for in other people's stats?
Confusedddd :/
Look forward to hearing from you all

For full ring your VPIP is way too high and way too far apart from your PFR. I used to play 14 VPIP 12 PFR. Post your stats by position so we know exactly where you're playing too loose.

Also post some of your hands in the hand analysis part of the forum for advice.

How do I do that? I know I was playing too far apart but I didn't realise I was.
Any info you can give me about different stats or other people's stats regarding what I should be looking out for etc.
Thanks for the reply tho :)

You are limping far too often.

If you cannot raise take a MUCH closer look at whether you are profitable playing a hand before calling....ESPECIALLY if you are out of position or first man in.

You are raising about the right amount of the time....but then again the sample is wayy small.

Thanks for the reply,
Yes I agree the sample is small but after 130 hands I could see clearly I wasn't playing solid poker. I guess sometimes ill limp a KQos in early to middle position which I guess is wrong even if the stakes are small etc

I dont think playing KQo in middle position is necessarily wrong in SS NLH....

I definitely think limping KQo is wrong here.

Your PFR and your VPIP need to be closer. You are being way too passive.

I think he probably makes the really big mistakes post flop though. But yes he should tighten up for start.

Jones422 - I play the same tables as you and my VPIP is 17.7 which is relatively OK. I too limp too much though. Nit is someone who is super tight, even single digits (something like 8/6). When they raise, you fold as a rule :D never give them any money, that is the policy :D
